Dip moulding is essentially a technique for the economical production of flexible and semi-rigid PVC components. Often used for mass production, it is particularly suitable for medium and small quantities.
The elastic characteristic of Chloroprene is one of the main differences when compared with PVC and this is important where, for instance a product has to be considerably stretched during fitting. The high elongation at break and low modulus are also beneficial in such an application.
Vacuum Forming is used to make many different products using thermoplastic sheets. These include enclosures, packaging, helmets and baths. The sheet is heated to make it flexible enough to be formed over a mould and then cooled to become hard again.
The rotational process is fairly simple but can produce a variety of complex shapes. It has economic tooling costs, stronger, lighter mouldings, even wall thickness and is proven to be very durable. Rotational mouldings are available in any colour.
Plastic Mouldings specialises in the fabrication of acrylics (Perspex). This versatile process involves materials like ABS, polycarbonate, PETG, and polypropylene, available in various thicknesses and colours. Using CNC routers, milling machines, and handheld drills, these materials can be precisely drilled, bent, and formed by heating between 140°C to 180°C, making them ideal for marine windows and automotive applications.
Additionally, our CNC routers and engravers allow for detailed engraving and product customization, catering to markets such as interior design, wedding favors, and bespoke products. This manufacturing process excels in the industrial sector, producing machine guarding, water tanks, protective covers, and security screens, and is also widely used in the hotel industry for signage, displays, and engraving.
