At Plastic Mouldings, we most commonly use a method known as ‘dip moulding’.
When using the dip moulding method, the shapes of the inside of the product are created and attached to a machine which then dips them into the plastic. Once dried, the plastic is removed which in turn leaves the product.
Dip moulding is essentially a technique for the economical production of flexible and semi-rigid PVC components. Often used for mass production, it is particularly suitable for medium and small quantities. Plastic Mouldings manufacture a range of different products which are made via dip moulding, including PVC handgrips, bellows, flat sleeves and busbar covers.
